Landon Godfrey - Abigail Greenbaum
Landon Godfrey’s first book, Second-Skin Rhinestone-Spangled Nude Soufflé Chiffon Gown was printed at Asheville BookWorks, where she co-hosts the Vandercooked Poetry Nights reading and printing event series, a limited-edition letterpress chapbook, In the Stone: Three Prose Poems, was published in Spring 2013. A second limited-edition letterpress chapbook, Spaceship, was published by Somnambulist Tango Press in 2014.
Her poems are forthcoming in The Bombay Gin and Slice and have been published in The Collagist,Beloit Poetry Journal, Studium in Polish translation, Best New Poets, Verse Daily, Broadsided, and other places. Her short fiction has appeared in Waxwing, and her prose on poetry has been published by Q Avenue Press, Gulf Coast, and Voltage Poetry.
She co-edits, -designs, and -publishes Croquet; each issue of Croquet is a postcard letterpress broadside hand-printed on a vintage Kelsey.
Abigail Greenbaum grew up in Gloucester, Massachusetts. She studied writing and history at Brown University, and then headed west (well, midwest), where she worked in haunted theaters and on tour. She studied fiction writing in the M.F.A. program at the University of Mississippi, where she learned about storytelling and tornadoes. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and tries to spend as much time as possible doing this.
