John Holman - Marlo Starr - Brandon Wicks
John Holman is the author of Squabble and Other Stories (1990), the novel Luminous Mysteries (1998), recently chosen as one of the 25 Books All Georgians Should Read by the Georgia Center for the Book, and Triangle Ray (Dzanc 2016, available at Amazon). A Whiting Awards winner, he teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Georgia State University.
Marlo Starr is a writer and English PhD student living in Atlanta. Recovering from her upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada, she studies and writes about issues of identity, belonging, and cultural myth. Her fiction and poetry have recently appeared or are forthcoming in The Threepenny Review, Monkeybicycle, and The Atlas Review.
A native of South Carolina, Brandon Wicks is the author of the novel, American Fallout (SFWP, 2016). His fiction has appeared in such journals as Sou’wester, Potomac Review, The South Carolina Review, and others. A graduate of George Mason University’s Creative Writing program, he serves as an associate editor for SmokeLong Quarterly and currently teaches at Emory University.
