Everyday my community makes me emblazoned to make a difference! I can see that life, for some, is no bed of roses. I see mothers on the train with small children, headed to daycare, so that they can report to their various places of employment. I see students who journey to various schools in the city, to obtain the knowledge that will help them become soldiers ready to make a difference in the world ahead. I see the homeless who strut their way up to strangers asking for a little change, to possibly brighten their day and buy a sandwich, cookie, or just a cup of coffee. I see dads in uniforms traveling back & forth, tired from a day of manual labor or simply tired from the vicissitudes of life. So, I head out each day to make a difference, greeting each patient checking into Emory Hospital with a smile or a word of encouragement, letting them know that everything will be alright. You may feel a little pain or sickness now, but in the end, somehow, a rainbow will hover over you and life will get better!
