The LEtters Festival

The Letters Festival is an annual gathering of artists and writers, showcasing the best in independent literature. Through readings, dialogues, and workshops, The Letters Festival offers community creative writing education and engagement.

Readings

Lost in the Letters hosts readings featuring independent authors from across the country. Former readers include Vi Khi Nao, Sabrina Orah Mark, Sarah Rose Etter, Kirstin Valdez Quade, and more.

Workshops

Our educational programs provide craft workshops to the community led by contemporary writers. Featuring artists from a variety of genres and disciplines, past workshops have included topics such as revision techniques, intermixing visual art and writing, truth in memoir, and more.

Studio Hours

Studio Hours offers space and time to focus on your craft. Join Lost in the Letters Studio Hours to write, read, revise, and pursue any other activity to push your practice forward. Studio Hours offers:

  • Individual desk & community space

  • Coffee/tea/water

  • Snacks

  • Writing exercises

  • Craft essays & craft books

  • Lostintheletters reading library

  • Resources for tracking your writing progress

  • Resources for submitting your work to publishing outlets

  • Space to read your work (NEW)
